Lower Keys Medical Center is accredited by The Joint Commission, the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in echocardiography, the American College of Radiology for mammography, the American College of Cardiology as a Chest Pain Center, and by the American Heart Association and The Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center. Established in 1971, it is licensed as a 167-bed acute care hospital with 24-hour emergency department care, laboratory and radiology services and medical transport.
The envelope evaluation consisted of determining repairs for multiple areas of degradation of the existing stucco finish due to the harsh tropical climate. Various structural failures, air and water infiltration points and storefront/window system gasket problems were identified. LMH provided solutions and details for implementation.
