The project establishes a fourteen bed, Comprehensive Medical Rehabilitation unit located within the existing Kindred Hospital North Florida facilities (“Program”). The unit is located on the hospitals first floor. Of the fourteen beds, six patient rooms are private rooms and four patient rooms are semi-private rooms. The unit employs a central nurse work station design.
The remainder of the unit is comprised of various support spaces for physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and patient dining & activity. Activities of Daily living, ADL apartment and administrative office spaces are located adjacent to the unit. The unit meets compliance with federal and healthcare standards including but not limited to: ADA, Safety, HIPPA, JC, and CMS. The entire unit is designed to be compliant with Florida state statutes and FGI Guidelines.
