Ivy Tech Community College engaged LMH Architecture to plan and design a solution for expanding their health sciences curriculum at the Sellersburg, Indiana campus. Leveraging LMH's extensive healthcare knowledge and Ivy Tech's innovative approach to education, the team went through a rigorous master-planning effort to develop and conceptualize a healthcare learning laboratory facility that would expand and enhance course offerings in the currently underserved healthcare career training region of Southern Indiana / Louisville. LMH took the space program developed for the stand-alone building project and worked collaboratively with staff to capture underutilized areas of the facility and renovate into highly utilized space. The program included approximately 27,000 square feet of healthcare learning labs, classrooms, dental program, and associated conference and office spaces and a 2 story, 25,000 square foot facility that can be expanded in the future.
