In 2013, Donum Dei Brewery began in a lease space in New Albany, Indiana. In 2018 Donum Dei received their license to distill spirits as well. LMH Architecture was asked to assist the owners in realizing their vision for a conceptual design for a unique 15,000 sf “Brewstillery” building. This will enable the client to significantly enhance their production capabilities and customer support spaces.
LMH provided multiple illustrations of a 2 story manufacturing space, visible from bar, restaurant and event spaces. This was intended to enable the building owner to search for the optimum site location to provide the one-of-a-kind venue in the Kentuckiana market. The building design optimizes natural day lighting for all areas.
