Building elements, such as the Ribbon of Life, a child-scaled entrance, vibrant colors, and playful interiors are designed to bring a sense of calming to the children that the facility serves.
The facility is not only playful, but energy efficient as well. The LEED certified building utilizes a highly reflective TPO roof membrane, an insulated concrete form (ICF) exterior wall system, and a geothermal ground loop mechanical system to minimize energy costs.
