Jewish Community Center
Replacement Facility Design Study
LMH Architecture worked with the JCC in Louisville to conduct a visioning session to convey a potential design to the public to generate excitement within the community and begin a fundraising campaign.
The goal of this planning and design study was to create a unique and iconic design that not only told the story of the Jewish faith through architecture but is able to be constructed in an affordable manner.
The design consisted of an approx. 80,000 SF facility on the current JCC campus in Louisville planned so that the new facility could be constructed while the existing building remained in use. There was also the design of a fitness center and camp on the existing Standard Country Club site in Louisville as well.
