As a founding partner with LMH, Alan has been continuously involved in project development and delivery since the firm’s inception in 1999.
Alan currently holds architectural registrations in multiple states and holds an NCARB certification. He also maintains professional affiliations with the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA), the American Society of Hospital Engineers (ASHE), and the Kentucky Society of Hospital Engineers (KSHE).
Although Alan has designed many different types of structures, his primary focus throughout his career has been healthcare architecture. Alan has been involved with the design of multiple complex healthcare projects, ranging from full replacement hospitals, to special procedure and diagnostic spaces, to outpatient facilities and medical office buildings.
Alan brings a wealth of healthcare planning knowledge to our projects with a specific expertise in pediatric and neonatal patient care programming and space planning. Having this type of specialized knowledge is part of what sets LMH Architecture apart from the rest.
